Our IMPACT

Good ideas grow when people have the right support.

Choose Clark County works alongside businesses, communities, organizations, and local leaders to turn ideas into action.

Sometimes that means providing funding. Sometimes it's helping find a grant, serving as a fiscal sponsor, making the right connection, or helping someone figure out what comes next.

The result is more local ideas moving forward and more investment staying right here in Clark County.

Buiness Growth

Local money helping local businesses move forward.

Choose Clark County helps entrepreneurs and existing businesses find the resources they need to take their next step.

Our Revolving Loan Fund keeps dollars working locally. As loans are repaid, those funds become available to help another Clark County business start, expand, purchase equipment, or invest in its future.

Our Cost-Share Grant program provides smaller investments for projects that help local businesses grow and improve.

COMMUNITY IDEAS → REAL PROJECTS

The best ideas come from the people who live here.

Choose Clark County helps local groups and communities navigate the space between having a good idea and knowing how to make it happen.

That can mean finding funding opportunities, connecting with contractors or partners, serving as a fiscal sponsor, helping organize next steps, or simply connecting people who have tackled something similar before.

Raymond Park Restrooms

THE IDEA
The Raymond Red Wing Day Committee identified a need for permanent public restrooms at the park.

THE COMMUNITY
Local volunteers, businesses, contractors and donors helped make it possible.

OUR ROLE
Choose Clark County served as fiscal sponsor and helped connect the committee with funding opportunities, contractors, and resources to move the project forward.

THE RESULT
Permanent, accessible community infrastructure that will ultimately belong to the City of Raymond.

BRINGING OUTSIDE DOLLARS HOME

Clark County should have a seat at the table.

State, federal, foundation, corporate and regional funding opportunities are constantly changing. Part of our work is finding opportunities that fit Clark County and helping connect local projects and organizations with them.

Every outside dollar brought into Clark County is an opportunity to accomplish something locally without asking our communities to carry the entire cost themselves.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP

HELPING LOCAL PROJECTS ACCESS FUNDING

SNot every community group needs to become its own nonprofit just to accomplish one project. Choose Clark County can serve as a fiscal sponsor for qualifying community efforts, giving local groups a way to receive charitable funding while they focus on getting the work done

NOT EVERYTHING WE DO HAS A DOLLAR SIGN.

CONNECTIONS THAT DON'T SHOW UP ON A SPREADSHEET

Some of the most important work happens before a project ever receives funding.

It's introducing a business owner to the right resource. Connecting one community with another that has already solved the same problem. Bringing organizations to the same table. Finding a property. Tracking down a program. Asking the question that gets an idea moving again.

Those connections are harder to count, but they're a big part of how things get done in Clark County.
