If you’ve ever wanted to get more involved in your community, make new connections, or help shape the future of Clark County, now’s your chance. Choose Clark County is looking for individuals who care about where they live and want to play a small but meaningful role in helping our communities thrive.

Serving as a board member with Choose Clark County isn’t a huge time commitment — but it is a rewarding one. Our board meets quarterly, with an annual community forum in September and occasional opportunities to help represent Choose Clark County at local meetings or events.

Board members serve as ambassadors for the county, helping guide projects and share ideas that move Clark County forward. Whether it’s supporting local business growth, identifying new housing opportunities, or improving the quality of life through beautification, recreation, and partnerships — every voice at the table matters.

Why It Matters

When you join the board, you’re not just filling a seat — you’re helping write the story of what’s next for Clark County. Board members have played a part in everything from housing development and the revolving loan fund to projects like the Commercial to Main Street beautification, the community welcome and baby packets, and expanding recreation opportunities across our towns.

It’s about leveraging your perspective, connections, and ideas to ensure every corner of Clark County continues to grow and feel like home.

What It Takes

  • Four meetings per year, plus the annual community forum

  • An interest in local progress and a willingness to share ideas

  • Openness to collaboration and learning

  • A little time — and a lot of heart for Clark County

Whether you’re a business owner, a teacher, a parent, or simply someone who believes in rural communities, you can bring something valuable to the table.
