There’s a lot to be excited about as we wrap up the fall season in Clark County!
We’ve been working with a community that uses an amazing local connection app — one that allows residents and visitors to see upcoming events, explore businesses, and find local services all in one place. We think this could be a huge win for Clark County. Our goal is to go live January 1, 2026, and we’re already on the December city council agenda in Clark and Willow Lake to share more details. We’ll also be visiting other communities this winter to show what this app could mean for local visibility and communication.

Last week, one of our board members and I attended the NeighborWorks America Community Leadership Institute, an incredible gathering of community-minded people from across the country. It was inspiring to learn how other small towns and nonprofits are approaching leadership, funding, and local collaboration. We came home energized to put these ideas to work right here in Clark County as we set our 2026 goals.
And we have big local news — we’re moving! Choose Clark County’s new home will be on Commercial Street in the old Backroads Floral building. This new location gives us better visibility and easier access for residents, visitors, and partners. We hope to host a small open house during Christmas in Clark on December 6, so please stop by and see our new space!
We’re also putting the finishing touches on our 2026 Strategic Goals and welcoming new board member applicants. If you or someone you know is passionate about Clark County’s growth and future, we’d love to talk.
Let’s make 2026 the year we strengthen every corner of Clark County — together!
