At Choose Clark County, one of our core goals is to help community-driven ideas take shape — whether they’re youth programs, events, beautification projects, recreation opportunities, or local initiatives that strengthen quality of life.

To support that mission, Choose Clark County, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is able to serve as a fiscal sponsor for eligible community projects across the county. This gives residents and volunteer groups a simple, supportive path to access funding without needing to establish their own nonprofit.

While this is a resource we’ve used at times in the past, we’re excited to highlight it more clearly so community members know it’s available whenever they need it.

What Is Fiscal Sponsorship?

Fiscal sponsorship allows a project, group, or individual to partner with us so they can:

• Receive tax-deductible donations

• Apply for grants that require a 501(c)(3)

• Have funds managed transparently

• Launch or test an idea without creating a formal nonprofit

It’s a simple tool that removes barriers and helps local ideas move forward more quickly.

Who Can Use Fiscal Sponsorship?

This support can be a great fit for projects that:
